WHAT WILL MY CERTIFICATE DO FOR ME?
We prepare our students to enter the electrical
field, if that is their desire.
Many states have different requirements for their electrical workers to pass before they go on to become journeymen
or masters. Some states don't even have the title of "apprentices". In the State of Michigan, however,
we consider our students to be beginner electrical technicians.
YOU
ALSO WILL RECEIVE A "SKILLS LEARNED" SHEET THAT YOU CAN SEND TO ANY PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYER THAT WILL LIST ALL SKILLS
YOU'VE LEARNED IN OUR TRAINING.
One benefit of working as an electrical worker is that you can work and "earn" hours and money
while working towards total hours. You are gainfully employed and supporting your family, while becoming more
qualified towards your electrical job. In the state of Michigan, the requirement to take a journeyman's test is a minimum
of 4 years experience (8,000 hours).
